RayBan wayfarers up for grabs!!!

Rayban 3447 Sunglasses

We have just received the fabulous Rayban 3447 sunglasses, as worn below by Henry Holland and Pixie Geldolf.  The Rayban 3447 was recommended in The Sunday Times Style Magazine (30/10/2011) as 'THE sunglass frame that suits all faces'.  And believe me, they are absolutely right!

The 3447 is a round-eye, metal sunglass frame, and is a refreshing move away from the ubiquitous Aviator and Wayfarer styles. Fasionistas everywhere are suddenly flocking for this new round-eye look.  Hurry down to The Big Optician, at less than RRP and at a price that includes custom fitting and a comprehensive guarantee, the Rayban 3447 is selling very fast!

Rogue Traders putting eyes at Risk!

Just having returned from a foray into Newcastle city centre, I was amazed to find 3 traders who seem more than happy to be putting the eyes and the sight of their customers at risk.

These retailers are illegally selling cosmetic contact lenses. Whether they are doing this without realising this is breaking the law is really beside the point. Contact lenses are classed as a medical device for a reason, whether they have a prescription in them or not.

The General Optical Council is vigorously pursuing illegal contact lens sales, as are trading standards across the country. A number of retailers have already been prosecuted in other parts of the country. Let’s just hope they are soon visiting shops in Newcastle before any more damage is done
