Radley Eyewear

Everyone knows and loves Radley, famed for the cute Scotty dog emblem on their handbags.  We are pleased to announce the arrival of the new Radley eyewear collection.  Inspired by themes from their handbags, such as the Radley Bow,  Radley eyewear is colourful, contemporary and very wearable by women of all ages. Now on display at The Big Optician, but do hurry as these frames are selling very fast.

Tiffany & Co

We are sooo excited to announce the imminent arrival of the NEW Tiffany & Co eyewear collection.  Along with the well-loved favourites such as 'Return to Tiffany' and 'Tiffany Key' there are three fabulous new Tiffany eyewear styles all directly inspired by Tiffany's jewellery collections.

Tiffany Garden takes its inspiration from nature: flowers, butterflies and dragonfly.  72 hand-placed Swarovski crystals adorn the stunning Garden Flower frame.  Its a seriously glamorous frame and not one for the feint-hearted!

Kate Moss made Ambassador for Vogue Eyewear

Kate Moss is the new ambassador for Vogue eyewear.  Quite fitting really, as Kate is one of the models to be featured most frequently on the front of Vogue magazine.  Vogue has involved Ms Moss in the design of the eyewear pieces and you can certainly see her influence.  Vogue frames are sassy and cool, much like the Kate Moss clothing range.  The Big Optician has just received the latest delivery of Vogue frames and we are loving them.

Can’t get enough of Rose Byrne’s style

Rose Byrne shot to fame as the stylish, glamorous young lawyer in ‘Damages’.  It was reported that she was dressed head to toe in Prada for every one of her scenes in the gripping US TV drama, where she absolutely shone playing opposite the Machiavellian character played by Glen Close.  If you haven’t seen Damages, you are really missing out.  Get it now on DVD!

This summer Rose took another lead role, this time in ‘Bridesmaids’ where she also played a successful, slick professional.  You could be forgiven for thinking that Rose would never venture out without being totally clad in couture.  How refreshing to see her sporting a really cool off-beat style while strolling the East Village in New York City this week, days before Hurricane Irene hit.  Rose’s style is vintage-inspired, topped off with the ubiquitous original Ray-Ban Wayfarer. Looking very cool...
