Rihanna in Tom Ford

The BIG Optician favourite, world renowned pop sensation Rihanna, has been snapped wearing one of our favourite brands, Tom Ford.

We wonder if she'll need these ahead of her visit to the North East later this year... we hope so! Sunshine needed!

Remember we have a great selection of Tom Ford frames in store :)

Tom Ford : 007?

Bond is Back in Tom Ford Eyewear...

The world's favourite secret agent will again be dressed head to toe in Tom Ford in the forthcoming Skyfall movie. To compliment his impeccable suits, we can confirm that Daniel Craig's James Bond will be wearing the Tom Ford Marko sunglasses in Shiny Rhodium with blue lenses.

You can catch Bond in his Tom Ford sunglasses in action from 28 October. But you can beat Bond to it by grabbing yourself a pair of Tom Ford Marko sunglasses from The Big Optician, Newcastle's authorised Tom Ford Eyewear dealer.

George Clooney - The Ides of March

Old blue eyes is back.....hurrah!  George Clooney fans can soon feast their eyes when his latest movie hits the cinemas this Autumn.  ‘The Ides of March’ was very well received by critics at the 68th Venice Film Festival this week.  George plays an American senator in this Machiavellian dog-eat-dog political drama.  The all-star cast includes Paul Giamatti, Marisa Tomei, Evan Wood and Ryan Gosling.  Photos of the cast taken before the gala screening showed George and Paul both shielding their Ides, sorry eyes, from the scorching Venice sunshine by wearing Tom Ford, while Marisa and Ryan were both sporting Ray-Ban Aviators.  Looking very much like an advert for The Big Optician!
