Prada Launches New
Confirming its collaboration with the Italian Publishing House Feltrinelli, Prada launches the second edition of Prada "Journal", the literary contest dedicated to emerging talented writers.
The contest has been designed to discover and promote talented, emerging writers who could express new views of the world through optical frames. More than 1,300 people from all over the world have taken the challenge and entered the competition, with over 30 languages being submitted.
Prada "Journal" was developed with the intention to transform frames into fashion accessories, capable of expressing personality and emphasizing individual style. The "Journal" collection consists of two new acetate sun and optical styles, all made in Lauriano, Italy. These easy to wear optical styles feature exclusive rectangular acetate frames for both men and women, now presented in a new ultra-lightweight frame with thin temples. The Prada "Journal" collection can be characterised by the iconic 3D temples, sleek profiles and bold lines, which are exquisitely combined with a clean, essential design.
